Now, if you’re a fan of industrial robots, you might know that Boston Dynamics’s “Spot” robot costs a cool $75,000. To promote this and other robots, Boston Dynamics has recently turned to a fun and creative way of promoting their sophisticated robots using LEGO kits!
Two LEGO kits in particular, the 46-piece Spot LEGO kit and the 44-piece Stretch LEGO kit have been used to promote the industrial robots. However, these kits are not sold directly by Boston Dynamics but given as promotional items to potential customers. If you want to get your hands on one of these kits, you might need to buy an industrial robot first!
Even if you don’t have the funds to purchase an industrial robot, you can still enjoy creating an unofficial Boston Dynamics-inspired project over on the LEGO site. There, you’ll find a 1:4 scale motorized version of Spot!
